  • lohan shiba shou

I have read once that lohan shi ba shou [lohan 18 hands] was tought by ta mo to his studants, from wich developed the 18 lohan forms, later the 54 lohan forms and then the 108 lohan forms.

But I have learned lohan shi ba shou as a shaolin form, and I have seen it in the wahnam website as a 18 movements of chi kung,I am very confused now,and what is it exactly?

It's a Shaolin form. WKK took the orignal drawings of the Yijinjing and added some movements to make it 18 and called it 18 Lohan Qigong.

To me, though, it seems that he didn't even get the original movements right, some he had to change completely most likely because he could not understand the text.

There are much better qigong teachers out there, if people know what's good for them they will steer clear of him.

    Peace.
