  • my brother has been diagnosed with cancer

I am at the moment, not sure how i am going to deal with it when the gravity of the situation hits me.

but i just found out that my brother has cancer. i thought maybe he caught hepc or hiv from his dirty ho girlfriend, but i was wrong.

so my brother quits drinking and smoking, and then all of a sudden he gets cancer. ****!

i have read articles on how tcm has worked miracles with cancer patients.

i hate chemo, and i dont want to see my brother waste away...

can anyone provide any info or point me in a direction?

i want to do everything i can to help my brother.

      what kind of cancer

      how old is he

how long did he smoke and drink

does cancer run in the family

what other habits does he have that could cause this

      is he an active person

      where does he work

maybe if u answer questions like that someone here will be able to help u a bit, maybe not i dont know. my sister might have breast cancer, my uncle has cancer and might die.

everyone gets cancer apparently and if its not cancer its something else crazy

maestro, i agree, those are very specific details that need to be addressed before anyone can provide decent information or help, unfortunately, i do not know much of this new situation. i'll be sure to let you guys know when i do find out.

thanks guys, you are all such great friends.

ms, also very sorry to here about this. i know it must be difficult. i have a close brother as well.

as for the tcm question and your comments, well, i was actually talking to my brother just the other day about a person i know who has a large growth on his shoulder. the person is in very good health, but he's got this big growth. it didn't make sense to me.

my brother said that since we're all basically just complex genetic mutations, superfluous cellular growth is not at all unusual. sometimes it does no wrong, like a knot in a tree, but, unfortuately it can also sometimes interrupt the body's normal functions, like with various forms of cancer.

if you like, i can ask him if he has any insight into the situation once you post more details.

            wishing you well...

Just make sure that your friend understands that "large growths" are not the norm. He needs to get it evaluated. Like now. Sarcomas and other "large growth" things kill.

thanks again, all of you guys...

the day i found out, i was pretty bummed, held back tears and cried for the most part... though i am for the most part i am comfortably numb (insane defense mechanism) i had to allow myself to feel sorrow to properly motivate myself to help my brother.

funny how most tragic things that happen to me nowadays, i notice deep within myself my first reaction is a smile, i feel that perhaps my brain is attempting chemically to counteract the extreme sorrow since i am rather on the edge of sanity at times.

well, anyway, i hope i didnt bum you guys out. i now see this as yet another challenge in life that i must overcome.

i must admit, i have been 6 feet under when it comes to responsibility and doing what i gotta do.

I don't really know anything, but I have heard several times that you (your brother) can meditate upon it, and "think" that you shall kill the bad cells. You just gotta focus entirely upon it and maybe it will help.

The type of leukemia has a great bearing on the treatment, prognosis, and outcome. Some are very treatable with modern techniques and therapies.

i have been doing distance healing.

i do a massive chi gung exercise until i can feel my chi well up in my whole body.

i then imagine holding my brother in an embrace or just imagine my brother and his aura, while sensing unbalances in his aura, and letting my aura become one with his to help correct it, as my wei qi can have an influence on his because it is stronger. i believe in a possible quantum effect.

his condition is improving i hear. blood levels went up. im going to continue to do this, though it is rather exhausting, i dont care. its the only thing that i can do, and i will do it.

Is he being taken care of by a specialist? Are you with him, or is he living in a different city?
