I was wondering, is there any other monestaries, that one can travel to and study martial arts at?

No, not really. Shaolin is the rare tradition in Buddhism that allows martial arts to be taught in it's daily schedule. There are a few others that teach it to the young novices but mostly they stop doing it when they get older, and all these temples are in the East, you won't find one like that in the West.

I thought he was refering to only Buddhist. But yes Wudang is another Temple (or actually set of temples) that teaches many different styles of Wudang Kung-fu. I hope to actually go there one day and learn, I hear it is quite hard to get to though."For some reason I'm in a good mood today. I haven't left the house yet, though. "

A guy I know trained with Wing Lam. He said he takes students on trips to see his background sometimes. One trip was to Wu Dang. Kind of like a trip Doc does, going back to the root. I don't know how often he goes. But you could get with him and have people to take a trip with. I think he goes sometime every year or so. He goes to a lot of places on the trip but Wu Dang is one. Interesting place with a lot of interesting Qi Gong.
