The best 6 months to go

What do u guys think is the best 6 months to go to train. I kno that people recommend first going there for a couple weeks to see if u like it which is what i will be doing. My mum will be going with me the first time as she just wants to see what its like. But if i decide to go what do u guys think is the best 6 months to go train there?

Acouple of weeks is hardly long enough, evn for a look at what's around except for that fact that it might give you a very brief idea of just how sh*t living conditions are in te area and potentially give yu some constitution and western comforts to prepare yourself to bring.

That said , at songshan/ dengfeng they are about to come into some extremely cold weather , so with not always having water (not that that's even clean unless you find it in bottle ) or power ( including heat) and lack of irrigation standards in the area meaning produce and meat availabilty and quality is often quite less than fabulous , I recommend you try for around april / may when the weather is less brisk and unless you really feel up to some blissful shaolin hell prepare to be gone by october at the latest when the winds begin their chilly turn.

Failing that, I'm heading out there any moment myself and others from the boards will be around aswell, so stay in touch and if you need some advice , "almost ' undoubtedly , someone will be nearby to point you in the right direction.
