Kimo Sensei came to our school periodically to give kobudo lessons. He started in Hawaii in the 50s and later studied at the Matayoshi Okinawa Kodokan. I met him through Academy of Okinawan Karate but i left the school years ago and i didn't advance very far in the system. He did seminars, traveling around the country. At the time he was looking to move and it looks as if me have have landed up in Massachusetts.
He is authentic and for real. My favorite form of his to watch was the kuwa (sp?) form -- the hoe.

good luck with your kobudo. keep training
