  • Wing Chun in south China

Does anyone know of any wing chun schools in the south of china, Im training in Shaolin at the moment but want to move south for winter and wish to study wing chun for the colder months of winter. Im looking for the Wing chun popularised by Yip Man rather than the White Crane derivative more popular in Fujian province.

    Many thanks,

there is not much yip man wing chun in china outside of hong kong (as far as i know really)... apart from some of his early students who teach around the foshan area. If you wanna learn in southern china i would go to Foshan as they have the Yip Man Tong (museum) there and i am sure they have various connections to different lineages there... there is a whole heap of different lineages from non-yip man that are nothing like white crane...

hope u find what you are looking for
