    Quantum Healing
Exploring the Frontiers of Mind/Body Medicine
    By Dr. Deepak Chopra

The author is trained in western medicine, and is born in India. He usually deals with patients who western medicine can't do anything more for. He uses such cases in his book.

This book deals Ayurvedic healing, an India tradition of healing. What I liked about the book, is the use of scientific terminalogy, instead of mystitisim.

In his book, he offers an explanation for why people suddenly heal. What he proposes is that the intelligence connects the mind and body. He goes on to say that a combination of mediation, the bliss technique, and listening primordial sounds can help fight disease. However in this continue into old age because it dimishes.
"If you want pure self-defense buy a can of mace." Grandmaster Villari (I think that is it).

GK, it's just mysticism disguised as science. chopra pretty much singlehandedly started the misconception that quantum physics and eastern spirituality have something to do with each other. in the end, he just doesn't have any actual experimental evidence to back up his claims. click here.
