Hello,
Anybody have an idea of the real utility for those Shaolin wrap socks other than fashion?
I mean, I read somewhere that they help prevent pants to be in the way when using weapons. Some also use those wraps on their forearms for the same reason.
How about adding extra support to shin, a bit like Tensor like stretching product?
My Shi Hung told me it was not really efficient; socks were always loosing or you would tight them too much and block blood flow...so he doesn't use them anymore.
Some monks only wear the socks without the wraps, others wear only the wraps.
Some are made of stretching material while other are made of traditionnal non stretching ruban silk stuff?
Anybody use those wraps? and what are the pros / cons
