  • “Cinnabar Palm”, or “Blow of deferred Death”?

From the book by Jin Jing Zhong "Training Methods of 72 Arts of Shaolin" (Tanjin, 1934):

“Cinnabar palm” is the soft GONG FU, it trains the inner power and belongs to category YIN. This exercise is also called “The Palm of Plum Blossom”1 (MEI HUA ZHANG) and “Palm of Red Sand” (HONG SHA ZHANG).
…If you are in command of this GONG FU, you need not touch the enemy with hands. You make stroking movements or strike with a palm at some distance and the enemy is severely injured and will surely die in 10-15 days or even in several hours. Being in command of this GONG FU, you must not misuse it in any case. It is a manifestation of guile and ill intentions to use it secretly. It can be used only in extremity to defend your life or the life of your near relatives. Unfounded use of this skill is immoral and disapproved by specialists in WU SHU.”

    See in detail here: http://www.kungfulibrary.com/gong-fu-e-magazine.htm

Is it possible in reality and if so, how can it be explained from the scientific point of view? It would be interesting to know if anybody is in command of this technique at the present time. Perhaps, somebody has some knowledge about it and he will be able to answer some questions at least.

P.S. One more resembling method - "One Finger of Chan Meditation". Here a blow is made with a forefinger at some distance, which results in injury of the inner organs or spasms of blood vessels (see ISSUE#2).

Doc, no one has been able to move clouds effectively for years, except if your a major player and can seed the suckers like Utah did when they had the Olympics... sure they had a good snow year, but they sucked the clouds dry before they got to Colorado, giving us a crappy snow year...

            well

i wouldnt doubt if this type of thing is possible..i mean really who knows, cinnabar palm translates to dan tian palm as far as i know

which would mean the energy used in this method would probably be originated from the dan tian somehow..but thats not a very good description since the dan tian is one of the main energy fields..that basically just leaves you wondering what the ****..

then theres the "One Finger of Chan Meditation" which soundsa helluva lot like our good buddy wkks "one finger shooting zen" which he claims can do just about everything jesus was said to do..so there ya go

            heheheh

i say, dont give up hope, dont close your mind to any idea, no matter what external influence and try and always seek truth

            peace

A friend of mine practices "Evil Cloud" Kung Fu. It takes a week to build/train
the Evil Cloud. He eats two meals a day. In the morning bran cereal and at
night garlic shrimp. During this seven day period he drinks many pints of
Guiness. At the end of seven days the Evil Clouds are at their worst. They
can stop a charging rhino or peel paint from a battleship. A mere mortal
is powerless in this mist from the brown death star. With this method
you must time when you'll attack but it is well worth the effort. My friend
released one cloud at work and our manager had the building services
people pulling up floor tiles looking for a broken sewer line. In the words
of Elmer Fud, "oh the Howwa".

Cinnabar Palm is the same as "Red Sand Palm" or "Cosmos Palm". Also a skill of my Sigung (Wong Kiew Kit). It is very useful in healing as well as combat. The magnitude of force required to hit or knock someone over at a distance is massive (much more than to disperse water vapour or clouds). In combat it's use is like iron palm. Except the difference is, Iron Palm training locks energy in the palm, whereas Cosmos Palm's energy can be used at the knuckles, feet, hips etc.

                        Hope that helps

                              Hi Maestro,

I can't give a definitive answer, only speculate.

Generally such statements are unbelievable to the Western world, they would be dismissed before the claim was properly looked into. Sigung has not been asked to be tested by any organisation, to my knowledge (I could be wrong).

I also think that the qigong patient's western doctor would dismiss the recovery from illness as coincidence.
