Interesting list of countries ordered by 'happiness'..

Noticed that life expectancy is highest in japan and hong kong and that china (just ahead of thailand) is quite high in the list.. must be all the fish and qi gong!

    Vanuatu is #1

Places like UK and US and other decadent western nations are waaaay down..

    Scary expectancies in Africa though.

    Draw your own conclusions..

A month in Phuket Thailand on very little money and could not have left any happier,
Don't know what the heck the chart on that website was trying to prove.

That there's more to happiness than economic wealth.. and africa is not a great place to live for most people!

Oops. Just noticed a typo in the first post.. 'Scary expectancies in Africa though. ' should have said 'Scary LIFE expectancies in Africa though.'

There are "scary expectancies" in Africa; you were right the first time. I suspect that the life expectancy rating in Japan will diminish with this generation. The excessive smoking and large influx of western fast foods to that country will probably have one hell of a negative impact also.

Haven't they been smoking like a big island chimney over there for a while now?

Colombia's #2. Maybe they're on something.... I mean, onto something, of course.
