Crazy how two minutes can seem like an hour when you are sparring or fighting....

Do you plan on fighting again any time soon?

I know what you mean. I always try to train with 1 extra minute in each round (ie training 3 minutes for a 2 minute round). That way I always feel confident that I know I can dig deep when really tired and feel fairly confident that when the time comes I won't have to dig that deep.

How did you do in the last one?
          Becoming what I've dreamed about.

One thing we used to do: The extra padding on the floor of most boxing style rings really saps the energy right out of you. We used to spar and shadowbox at least one or two rounds per training session on 6" and 8" crash mats that we used for tumbling practice. This way, we were slightly more prepared for the 1-2" foam padding in the ring.

Do you mean continuos sparring, or continueing to fight.. I think you mean the first.... If that is the case, well, thats what you should be doing. I can't stand point sparring, don't see much use other than maybe learning some explosiveness. people get trapped into looking for a tag match.

Continuous sparring, under different rule sets.... thats the ish/

I meant continues fighting , its funny because people assume point fighting is a one punch one kill type of mentallity and when they tap someone on the street the person is going to barrel right through them , tis a shame really.
