i dont like that karate gymnastic shit that "daniel" whatever guy was doing..i watched the guy in the yellow to but seen a million of those demos..always the same.
i respect their acrobactic abilitys but only to a point. its impressive but in the end, i dont want to train like them i dont like karate and i dont like flying lolo
in the end mortal what u need to try and understand about hung style, the moves arent stiff, they make look stiff but they arent, the "crisp" movements are done to send energy to the end of the weapon, not just swinging it around like the wushu people. this is another problem, wushu people love swinging weapons around etc but they do not understand how to link the energy to the weapon, sure if it came down to a fight with weapons u could take whatever side u wish but, in the end its like comparing a little kid to an adult. a kid fights an adult and tries to punch the adult the adult can easily brush the arm away, on the flip side if the adult punches and the kid tries to move the arm there is no hope for the little sob. not to mention with hung style demos if you watch them and are impressed with whatever speed u think u saw, try and imagine that speed about 20x faster in a real fight
the thing about hung style is it can be played many different ways but in the end it is very famous for devastating relentless attacks. traditionally all the moves are like iron but they are quick as lightinging. you could block us but you wont move the bridge, and if you do block you are touching iron. also, you better be faster then a shaolin monk because the training methods of hung style, when talking about master level..they are just to fast, and the attacks are relentless and every hit is a KO. the reason in hung style they place so much emphasise on structure and slow dynamic tension is make every hit a KO, so when u fight and your so fast you cant even see us, and your attacks never stop even in retreat, it is like fighting a tiger unleashed from a cage
