Of course you realize this all depends on what you mean by "bad" it also depends entirely on the accompanying signs and symptoms. When/how did you injure it, is it chronic or acute, does it hurt, what is the pain like, can you pinpoint the pain to a specific place or does it hurt over a larger area, is the surrounding tissue warmer or colder than the other knee to palpation? Is there inflammation, edema, or arthritis?
The treatment of your knee will depend on these things and a few others.
